by Amanda Pascocello on The veggie burger is prohibitively tasty. Prohibitively because you're not going to be able to experience the rest of the menu - and the rest of the menu looks REAL good. Great selection of beers, quirky but upscale atmosphere... like it was built by a computer hacker.. with a trust fund. Been here for dinner and drinks a few times, they seem to have a lot of events - so check the calendar or else you may be stuck listening to bad karaoke on a date.
by Jodi Yancy on This is one of the most pleasant places to hang in SF. The patio here is outstanding. I've been here for 2nd Sunday's but prefer it on Indian summer afternoons. Happy Hour is 3-7 and usually the crowd is pretty light. You can get a great seat right above the water; there are leather booths outside with 2 and 4 tops. They've got an amazing 1/2 Lb hamburger with fresh cut fries. Servers are great and they have good brunches as well. Love it here, on my way back even though i was just there yesterday...
by Deniz T. on I love Martuni's. This is my favorite place to go with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday or another occasion. I have always had a very nice experience there. The drinks are very tasty and not too expensive. I feel that they have drinks for every taste. I love the piano bar, especially later in the evening when you can be very drunk and sing along loudly. I agree that it would be nice if they had an elevated bar, but it's great anyway. I think that the vibe is a little bit classy, but you can be silly and they don't mind. I was very drunk on a birthday a few years ago and leaned forward to kiss my very cute waiter when he brought me my third or fourth martini, and accidentally crushed the glass with my boobs. Not only was he totally nice about cleaning it up, but he brought me another drink free of charge.
