by Amy S. on National Mechanics serves my favorite brunch in Old City -- no wait, my favorite brunch in Philadelphia! I recently wrote about it at http://hubpages.com/hu.... Put simply, the atmosphere is super chill, the brunch drink options are fantastic (MYO bloody mary bar and awesome "him-mosas"), and the Eggs Maryland (eggs benedict with crab cakes) are mouth-watering. I love it like crazy. I keep swearing I'll go for drinks and dinner, but I only seem to make it there on Sundays for brunch. I'll experience their evening-time food eventually...
by Elliott Class on I did the South to North Polk pub crawl for my birthday. We ended up visitng about 5 different places and this was one of them, in the middle of the crawl. I loved it. The DJ was a bit of jerk. He wouldn't take requests except one birthday request. Otherwise, it was awesome. R&B tunes on the dance floor, an outdoor smoking spot, and great tasting drinks. It got packed around 11pm or so, pretty quickly after we showed up so we just assumed we were the attraction! Happy Birthday to me :)
