by Jessica E. on Not sure if my good experience was due to the VIP section we had, but service seemed good and crowd was good too. The line outside was pretty long at 11 so I definitely suggest guest list, which we were on fortunately.

But bottom line is.. this is Hollywood people, this isn't some club in the valley. And right now Opera IS, one of, or the hottest club going on so don't expect to be treated like royalty. Your not going to a friends houseparty where everyone knows you! lol. This is definetely a place for wealthy people or people in the "connections" industry. That's how Hollywood clubs run. Clubs make money off tables, so if you are a group of guys expect to have to buy a table to get in. Girls, Just be nice, dress attractively and be somewhat presentable and not like YOU are Gods gift the the public! Look around to see who is the main man to talk to out there, believe me there is usually one or 2 and he will NOT be a security guy. lol Listen, if they were in the business of letting anyone in and not being picky, that place would be infested with gang members and shady ass hoodlums which i'm sure in turn someone else would be complaining about on this blog. It's a catch 22 so before you complain, understand why they do what they do, know "why and how". I'm not saying it's right but you want to play the game, you gotta play by the rules. I can say I've been there once, don't know anyone there, but patience, observance and being kind to the right person got me right past the front door and into the club. I had a great time, drinks were good and bartenders were as quick as they could be, remember they are only humans! I could go on and on, but thats enough. I got better things to do than sit here and write all day.
