by Rene Sandona on Yay, Maggiano's!! I'm a long-time Maggiano's fan, so I was SO excited when I heard they were opening in Austin! I finally made it for a visit this week and it did not disappoint! We were on the patio on a gorgeous Austin night with a very attentive waiter, so it was a fantastic experience! I'm a sucker for good bread with dipping oil and vinegar and loved theirs! The Maggiano's salad is one of my favorite restaurant salads! I can't go without ordering and it was great! I think the "Today, Tomorrow" pasta deal is just about the best deal I've seen at a restaurant like this. The portions are huge, so I couldn't finish my "today" pasta and got a to-go box. The "tomorrow" portion was equally large, so I got four meals out of my $13 order!! Their gnocchi is my favorite restaurant gnocchi! Yum! The portion was about 4x bigger and MUCH better than the gnocchi at another italian restaurant right by my home, for only $2 more! Apparently their email list sends out good coupons because my companion had a coupon for a $2 dessert. We split the seasonal pumpkin cheesecake, which was incredible! I'm signing up for the list so I'll get those coupons myself! I can't wait to go back!
by Sheila T. on Wanna go to Las Vegas but don't want to take a 4 hour trip? GO TO EXCHANGE LA! It has the vibe and size of a Las Vegas club. My friends and I went on a Saturday night because our friend was related to the promoter that night so we got in FREE (boys and girls) before 11am. I walked in and was impressed by the size, the light fixture decoration above the danceflooor, the variety and number of people, the music, the drinks, the dancefloor, and had a grand 'ole time. I will come back here :)
by Nathanial Steffani on Great place. Great service. Good food. Bacon burger and fries were good. Meat could have a little more seasoned. Bacon added so much flavor I can't imagine eating their burgers without it.The ciabatta bread was perfect.
