At the end of the night while walking to my car and chatting with the passing people i stopped infront of trigger and talked to some friends... The door man was tryin to clear the side walk and get people to go to where ever they were going... Since no one was moving he gets a little loud and says..." ladies, gentlemen .. OR WHATEVER YOU WANNA BE CALLED it's time to go"... Now my eye balls popped out of my head and my jaw is in on the floor... I am a transexual woman and I found that comment very rude.. It would be different If he didn't walk over to where I was standing and made that comment... I walked over to him and told him that his comment was very rude and he coul have left the second half of his comment at home! He told me " well you heard me" at that point i was done! I couldn't believe my hears... Maybe he doesn't realize that he is workin at a gay bar in the gayest city in america were you are goin to see a little bit if everything and you can't just open your mouth and say the things u want! I will NEVER BE GOIN BACK! Well I never made it in so i guess not!
by Ellis Bockenstedt on Not a HUGE fan because it's just a large version of those typical grungy hipster/weirdo bars except it's only poppin after hours. Expect it NOT to get crowded until at least 1am, and expect to see the people you were hoping would NOT be there from the bar... However the drinks are stiff... so 3 stars?
by Karsten P. on The outdoor area's pretty dope, as is the crowd - it's sorta like a low-budget EndUp scene with less flowery plants and no waterfalls, but with the same sort of division of space that allows you to section off with friends and talk if you want to. The dance area that runs parallel to the bar is a big dark cave. I miss the Middle Eastern theme night they used to do, with belly dancing lessons, then a troupe of female and male dancers, and then at 11 the place would pack up and they would play this sick Arabic and North African house mix. Haven't been in a while, mainly because it's not on a direct route to where the naughty people play, i.e. SOMA. Good if you live out in Bernal or feel like a change.
