by Kathy T. on A bit on the pricey side, but for a corporate event, Bowlmor can't be beat. It's a fun place for some team building and good, old fashioned fun! The food and drinks are actually pretty good for a bowling alley. And I loved the music - they had the classic 80s blasting!
by Arlen Zimmerly on this is *the* original lounge of boston. nothing looks bad here. pushing the boundaries with its new york-esque minimalist decor and versatile furniture scheme to encourage dancing, this is one of the staple hangouts that i regularly frequent. yup, you heard right, "hangout." even though it can be filled with trendy and good-looking people, it's still got that cool laid back style to it, especially when you throw mit students into the mix. like the decor, the music is innovative as well, although i definitely prefer the downbeat mix of friday nights as opposed to the old school rap on saturday nights. the menus look like they were designed by some graphic designer, outlining yummy food and delicious drinks. the drinks could be a little stronger though. you definitely cannot go wrong with all this eye candy.
