Service - Both the bartender and the waitress were pleasant and checked in with us frequently. Prices - About average (maybe slightly cheaper) for the marina The place was busy but not uncomfortably crowded on a Friday night. Other customers were of all ages, but it was def. not a meat market (and note - it's in the Marina). Way fewer dbags than most places in the area. I wouldn't go out of my way to get here, but I'd stop in again if I was in the neighborhood. A good place to catch the game - lots of TVs.
by debbie h. on The venue itself isn't bad....just a bit dated. You walk into an open room with an upstairs and decent bathrooms. The floors were very sticky and the crowd wasn't bad, but not so easy on my eyes. That is besides the point because I went specifically to see my favorite female house DJ--DJ Collete. I fell for her this Spring at WMC, where I saw her do her thing like 3 times (she's engaged to Tara Reid's BF from American Pie). She rocked and was totally unpretentious; the epitome of cool. Her vocals are always outstanding and she gets everyone on their feet. Note: I was impressed by the lack of e-tards in the house. The space has so much potential, all it needs is some new furniture and a spicier vibe. The location is convenient for doing the bar crawl. Parking is not hard, but a bit shady. Don't be suckered into renting a parking spot from street security (aka homeless). The trick is to pretend that you are crazier than them and they will leave you alone--100% fail-proof.

It seems like a lot of underage girls are let in (some look like they are barely out of high school). Not enough girls and it so packed that a lot of them choose to just stay outside. (I personally am not a fan of myspace) Reggae gold is a reggae/dance hall party that is held here every OTHER Saturday. Go to http://reggaegoldsf.comto make sure you go on the correct date. I CAN NOT VOUCH FOR ANY OTHER NIGHTS HERE! The Good: 1. Open till 6am!!! Great for those who want to keep kickin it after the regular clubs close. 2. Good reggae music. 3. Decent to good looking crowd. 4. When you find someone to dance, you'll probably dance all night. 5. When you leave, there is a guy selling good hot dogs outside. 6. People are friendly 7. Crowd has an international flavor (although its Majority black men, and diverse group of women) The Bad: 1. Sometimes there aren't many attractive girls 2. A lot of the same folks are there all the time 3. Lot of fat girls can be in the house 4. Girls sitting on the wall or in the back won't get up to dance 5. World Music night is not as lively compared to the Reggae night (check the website) 6. Can get real hot The fact that this is the ONLY after hours party that plays good music and has a diverse crowd...this place gets 4 stars.
