so we came with about 30 people for my friends bday in a party but and the door staff really pulled it off well. everyone got in with no problem even though 50% were drunk, the bouncers just laughed it off and let us in =] The club itself was also pretty cool. Weird set-up with an island bar but it was really fun. The place was packed, the drinks were pretty pricey, but thats expected when clubbing in LA. The smoking area was pretty small though, there was another whole big section outside that the bouncers didnt let anyone get to, which was pretty weird methinks. Overall the club was filled with beautiful people, of course being around 6 shots in everyone looks better, but regardless...it was filled with beautiful people, very very good DJ AND the best part was that its open until 4am, which gave me that east coast/European nightlife feeling. highly recommended, but it'll be hard to get into if your just a bunch of guys, so make sure to have a party of good looking girls with you =]

Copa has a great environment and different spaces to explore. I've never once been to Copa and had a bad time. The staff is friendly, the patrons are diverse, open minded, and friendly. Whether you are into romance or intrique or just want to meet new people COPA is a great space for all that and more. I've wanted to perform at COPA for a couple years now and very excited to announce our first performance on Saturday night November 1st after Halloween 2008. We hope this first performance will not be our last. So keep an eye out for Hipnautica at COPA.

I'm not too big a fan of a lot of the clubs in Hollywood, but club Deep @ Vanguard definitely falls into the top on my list. Drinks are okay pricey but exactly what I would expect at a venue of its stature. There is a loooottt of room to dance, which I love to do especially to house music (my fav.). As far as the placements of the VIP areas, it's done in a efficient manner along the sides which help the flow of traffic through the main stage. They have another pretty nice sideroom closer to the entrance which also has a decent sized dance floor. But wait...when you think that it couldn't get any bigger the outside patio is gianormous lol. Vanguards patio is probably one of the biggest outside areas that I have seen at any venue. Also the patio is nicely furnished with plenty of seating areas plus another bar of course and a DJ booth. As far as cover is concerned, though it is $20.00 fixed all night, if you plan ahead, usually Deep will have presale $10.00 tickets on http://groovetickets.comor you can visit their website @ http://www.deep-la.com/. If you are wondering why the prices can be so steep is because they have actual headliners. Keep in mind that some of the DJ's that come here are rated top in the world and it costs deep a couple grand at times to hire these great DJ's per night. Deep really is house for all of socal lol. The DJs... Hands down deep pulls the best headliners here. That's what Deep is about. You have all of OM-records artists come through here all the time, plus many other top charting electrohouse/electronica/house djs. And your resident DJ Marques Wyatt is the shitttt he always puts down the dopest tracks. The Crowd Is of course chill. Usually the house or electronica scene will have chill crowds. If you're a girl and don't like being harassed by guys Deep should be a pretty safe environment for you. Hands down my favorite crowds are house crowds because they are there to just relax chill and most importantly FOR THE MUSIC.
