Great happy hours in late afternoon. Good dancers on Saturday nite, especially this last one I went to! I love the new lighted bar counter. All in all, fun.

In town for the weekend and enjoying dinner with a very special person. We had reviewed restaurants online and came across an article on Citysearch: Get a Stall, Bathrooms Built for Action.( http://atlanta.citysea...) Needless to say, that wasn't the initial draw, as the menu spoke for itself and the reviews were enough to seal the deal. :) but comical nonetheless. (btw I checked and it was okay.. the pictures were more alluring then in person) We arrive at Parish, unannounced and without a reservation on a Friday Night at 9pm. Considering it was the peak time for the weekend; the host staff was inviting and most graciously accommodating. Thanks! I loved the restaurant, the ambiance was exquisite, the low lighting was key for a romantic dinner and the crowd was a mixture of yuppies and hipsters. The menu was presented on a large chalkboard upon the wall. Bread was quickly delivered and we were well on our way for a date to remember. Our server was delightful and knowledgeable with the menu and the wines. We started with a couple classes of bubbly and oysters on a half-shell (yes the perfect way to start the night). Followed by the Fish of the day and the Enchanted Mountain Trout. My favorite of the night was the corn pudding. divine. Finally, I love the concept. The concept of a restaurant serving New Orleans style cuisine, creatively presented using regional ingredients and an open kitchen with a market below. What a wonderful addition to the neighborhood and if I wasn't on my way out on the town, I would have gathered up the pastries and planned for brunch. Thank you Parish, i will be back.

Legendary. Amazing. Awesome. The calamari is super good and the entertainment is even better. On industry nights you can see a ton of celebrities and every now and again, major comedians will drop by for a quick set. If you're a fan of west coast comedy, check out the Improv, it's where anyone who is anyone got their start.
