by Sarah C. on I came here a couple weeks ago for a birthday. I think the admin people need to get their stuff together. The coat check people and bartenders were nice but the guards and everyone else kind of sucked. The music got better through the night and the bathrooms were pretty good. There are two ladies that man the bathroom area.
by Roxy G. on Most people come here to dance, I come here to hang out in the backroom, enjoy the benefits of indoor smoking while sipping on a gin or whiskey. It often gets too crowded, it was more of an "after-work" type of bar for me, once the hip hop crowd starts knocking I go running. Some of my most memorable crawls on Polk have included a stop at Vertigo. It's to be expected, it's a dive, with weird dance music, with a smoking room in the back. Also, it's clean - so you're set!
