Taco Tuesday! $2...Taco Tuesday! $2...What does this mean?! :P When it comes to tacos, I get really picky because I grew up in a hometown full of authentic Mexican tacos in LA and San Diego. I was a little thrown by the name of this place...Nick's Crispy Tacos. Who is Nick? What does it mean tacos are crispy? HmMmMm? Thought Bubbles were surrounding my head. * Bloop-Bloop* Because it was my first time coming here, I was not expecting the place to be bumping like it was a Friday night. Everyone was watching the baseball game, DJ mixing music, drinking margaritas/beers, eating tacos and having a good time. My friend and I stood in line that was long as the length of the building. While we were waiting, we saw basket full of tacos swinging by us that looked full, juicy and tasty. Finally, it was our turn to order. A group of 4 of us got the following tacos for $2 each. (We got Nick's way for a $1: guacamole, cheese and lettuce) 2 - Vegetarian 2- Chicken 3 - Beef 1 - Carnitas And of course, a pitcher of margarita on the rocks. I have to say that it tasted really good as it looked when I was waiting in line. It was on a fuller side, but you can't say no to meat. It was pretty close to what I get from home. I have to say, "Kudo's, Mr. Nick." After grubbing down, we left the place with satisfied stomachs. I'll be back for some more $2 tacos on Taco Tuesday! :P

I was there for a fashion show event last week. the show was ok, crowds were normal but the drink was STRONG! Music was good, though - three DJs?. I don't know how this place would look like without such events. Though we had fun mostly one of our friends danced like a star and everybody including the models came and flipped them selves. Most bizzare thing was when we went downstairs for bathroom, there was a karaoke going on. Wasn't sure it was a private party or public but all korean and all. Huh?
