Here's what I want to know -- why in hell did I pay an extra $15 each for "VIP" seating at this venue when we were just crammed between a bunch of people in the middle of the space?  Actually, at first the obnoxious weird seating guy tried to sit us on raised seats to the side of the piano -- are you joking? There was no way we were going to sit in that very prominent spot when seeing Sandra Bernhard -- that is like asking to be picked on during her show and we were not in the mood. Not to mention by no stretch of the imagination would those seats be considered "good."  So we asked to move, and get crammed in between people. I want the extra money back.  Not for Sandra -- she was hilarious and can actually really sing to my surprise - but it is a scam for the Rrazz Room to sell higher priced tickets that are the same or worse than the regular priced tickets. I give it two stars, though, b/c it is an intimate venue that if not for these issues I'd think was a great place to see a performance.

The first time my friends and I went, the bouncer was unfriendly and told us at 1am that it was $10 cover.  We hesitated, but since we promised our friends we'd meet up and the bouncer assured us it would be open until 2, we relented and gave up our money.  It was packed and walking around the club was a pain.  But we found our friends, the music was good, and so we started dancing.  At about 1:35, they started rudely herding everyone out. Though we had pretty much determined that we disliked Bruno's, we decided to give it another chance (we did like the music after all) This time we started the night there, so the $10 cover for half an hour was no longer an issue.  What was an issue though was the flock of creepy guys lurking by us and following us around the club every time we moved.  The drinks were ehh okay, the music still good. Debated giving this place 1 or 2 stars but honestly, every time I think of this place, I get shivers thinking of the creepsters.  Will never step foot in Bruno's again.

Any place that plays bands like Zeppelin, Nirvana, Floyd, Oasis etc. in my neighborhood is a keeper! This is a cute little dive, and when i say little, i mean little. It's very comfy though, with couches strewn about and a hammock on the upper level. I hear bands come and play but I haven't seen one yet, I hope to catch one soon. Happy hour is from 4pm-9pm and most drinks are $5. Also they have brooklyn lager on draught. What more could I ask for ? :)
