We came here for my gf's bachelorette party. It so happens she picked halloween weekend to come to the city. Looking at the other reviews.. it seems like there's usually no cover charge. WELL, lucky us picked the best weekend to come and we EACH paid $45 to get in!! UGHH.. Anyway, aside from the expensive cover.. the hour long wait in the rain and cold.. once we got inside it was nice. There was a pretty good crowd but then again, it was halloween. I thought the inside was beautiful.. too bad we were only allow to be on the first floor because the upstairs floor was restricted to people with tables :( Drinks are way overpriced here! $11 for drinks and shots. Drinks are small. I don't remember what kind of music they had.. hmm.. and I don't remember seeing people dance? Well, in the spirit of the event and the holiday.. it was still a fun night and now I'm broke. Until next time~

HORRIBLE BAR SERVICE and the bartender screwed up our Old-Fashioneds. I really wanted to like this place, but the service was so disappointing. We waited 20 minutes to get our drinks. While it was happy hour and the place was busy, the bartender overlooked us several times and had quite an attitude. When he finally took our drink order, it took another 10 minutes to make our drinks as he was busy socializing with the other bar staff and he even poured himself a drink. To top it off, they didn't have Maker's Mark and my "old fashioned" was basically orange juice with whiskey. Also the happy hour special ($8 cocktails compared to $10 usually) wasn't that great as the cocktails were tiny! The decor and ambiance was nice and the DJ was dropping some dope beats, but after a couple drinks we decided to leave. I likely won't be back soon, but luckily for the owners, I'll still be frequenting John Colins.

When I first came into Rouge I was so excited, this bar looks really nice with all the interesting chandeliers and I had been to Nick's Crispy taco's before which is located inside this bar. However, this is the worst bar I have ever been to. I really hate it so much. I came in to the bar with two bottles of wine in hand, and no one said anything about a corkage fee which I was aware that there would be one. After trying to dance to the worst DJ, who switched genres every other song,I was told that my corkage would be $50. This place is desperate for money really because no one goes there. If you want to go to a club that is completely empty and lame then you should go to Rouge. If you like fat chicks and gross nasty bitches then you should go to Rouge. If you like to have a bathroom that is completely disgusting and has an attendant that watches you pee then go to Rouge. I will never go there again. If there is a way that I could rate it negative stars I would. I will never go to Rouge or (sadly) Nick's Crispy tacos again. If you rated this bar above 1 star you are fat and ugly.
