by Ivonne B. on Great job, ladies who were behind the counter and were so nice! I was walking to a different place to grab lunch when I spotted their sign outside which grabbed my attention. I was so happy to see "fried plantains" on their menu. Any friend of a plantain is a best friend of mine. So here is the deal - you walk in and follow the signs - they lead you to a dance floor. Sounds weird, I know. At the other side of this place is a counter. Standing behind it were two nice girls who greeted me. I got the veggie taco - FAT please and the fried plantains (nah uh?!?!). While this was cooking up in the back we all chatted as another first timer came in to basically ask all the same questions I did as a newbie. I have to say that I don't usually get veggie tacos because you never know what you are going to get - don't shove red roasted bell peppers in my taco - but I am glad I did. They put the correct type of bell peppers = green, rice, beans, salsa, sour cream, guacamole and cheese on two smaller corn tortillas. My dish also came with a few chips that were delish as well- not pulled out of a bag. The plantains were great! The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars is because I want to try their burrito and yucca fries - if great - they'll make it to a 5!
