And I was looking forward to the experience, because I'd been here two years ago for a wedding reception and it was a good time and the food was fantastic! Our reservation was for 10:15 PM. At 10:35 PM, the main eating room had been converted into a dance floor and it was so loud we didn't bother to try to speak for the rest of the meal. We couldn't even really hear our server when she was talking to us. Now, I'm in my mid 30's, which, I know, makes me like 100 years older than the idiot strippers at the table next to us and 90 years older than everyone else there, but...it really doesn't seem fair to offer dinner reservations so late, so close to "club time." If I had been on a date, the date would have been a disaster. To be fair, when we complained when we were trying to leave (and by trying to leave, I mean, we were trying to tell the server we wanted our check, but she couldn't hear us), the manager did knock $10 off our bill (about 15%) which I thought was a good thing. Also, the servers were good, and knowledgeable. We ordered two or three things that they'd run out of, but they quick to suggest alternatives that were similar. The food was mediocre on average. I ate vegetarian because my friend is veggie and we wanted to share: Local Winter Vegetable B'stilla with Goat Cheese = EXCELLENT, quite hearty. Pommes Frites = they gave us potato crisps (chips!) and while they were tasty, they were not Pommes Frites, and it is just a bad choice for a small plate. Warm Vegetarian Stuffed Grape Leaves with Cucumber-Radish Salad = salad OK, grape leaves were too tangy or sour or something. Beet Salad = it was OK, but I'm not really a beet person, so I'm not one really to judge. If I ever went back, I'd book a reservation early enough so that I wouldn't feel like I was eating in a nightclub. The atmosphere was pretty obnoxious when the restaurant became a club.

And when we party, we don't leav til 5 in da mor-ning! -do my very gangsta hand signal- My friend hooked up w/ 1 of the promoters for this club and he got us VIP, no wait, no lines, 2 free drinks, VIP wrist bands. There's a professional stripper pole in 1 of the rooms, and we totally took advantage of that. The drinks are a bit watered down, but the music was great from start to finish. We had so much fun that we totally lost track of time and nearly missed our flight... had to go to the airport in my hoochie mama outfit! fun times!
