I'm speechless. Came here early in the evening for a networking event and my group decided to stay until the club crowd arrived. Bad idea. 10 reasons to no go to Marquee: 1. 18 yr old fist pumpers: lots of them 2. Incredibly rude staff (including coat check, bartenders, bouncers, etc.) 3. Bartenders will steal your money, without giving you change. 4. Too small 5.Too crowded 6. Too loud 7. Too hot 8. Music sucks 9. People suck I'll never go back.

James // Today's journey lead us to The Varsity, a restaurant established in 1928. There are basically two things that people order; the chili dog and the chili cheeseburger (seriously). So what'll I have? The chili dog. And onion rings. And a ton of grease. Oh, and an orange drink. (Which is like a Hi-C orange from McDonalds). The actual building is awesome. It has various wings to facilitate its loyal patrons. The wait time for us wasn't too terribly long, although we did go a little bit later than most. I think the big appeal for this place is its history. The food seems good when ordering, but becomes otherwise when consuming. 3.5/5 Matt // Oh, the Varsity. Atlanta's firstborn fast food joint. There's really no place like it. Such history. Such the experience. The food isn't great, but who cares!? They have ice orange drinks. 4/5 Brandon // The Varsity is as much an Atlanta institution as the city's traffic, southern tradition and insanely hot weather. Hotlantans have been chowing down chilidogs and burgers here for a whopping 82 years. And it's easy to see why. Or, rather, taste why. I ordered my favorite Varsity staple, the #1: a chili dog, a chili cheeseburger and fries. But no meal there is complete without the famous Frozen Orange drink. Which is really just a fancy name for their "delicious orange creamsicle beverage. No matter what you call it, the Varsity never disappoints your tastebuds. If you want good, old-fasioned American food -- and an Atlanta story worth telling to your friends -- then this is the place. Next time they ask me, "What'll ya have?" I might just have to answer, "One of everything." 4.5/5 ___________ Cardinal & Company // 4/5 http://lunch.cardinala...

I had a good time here on 10/30/09, The best floor was the lower level, with 80's music and lots of MJ. I liked the mummy dancers, they helped me get my groove on, and even though I danced with myself all night, i still had a great time. Cocky girls that get harrassed need to realize I'm back on the scene. What!
