Although I'm not bias to going to strip clubs at all I was a little curious as to what to expect from the grand opening party at Bliss, formerly the 24K club. I was pleasantly surprised. Even though I felt more as if I were going into a nightclub than an adult entertainment establishment it was very welcoming. From the valet to the door guy the door girl and the rest of the staff my friends and I were very accomodated. I have to give a shout out to Ashley, our waitress, for being so friendly as well as Walker, better referred to as the hot or handsome stranger by other patrons. I'm not quite sure what Walkers title is but he's there to make sure you're having a good time and taken care of. Thank you Walker! You are a hottie though. ;) I don't quite know how to describe it. Very nice renovations, the dj will definitely get you out of your seat and into what's going on around you (hello gents and ladies!! Beautiful ladies undressing), plenty of attractive staff to help you, clean bathrooms (my big thing), reasonable drink prices, oo oooo and they have an actual shower and yes the girls put on quite a show. all in all I had a good time and definitely do plan on returning. It's truly a step up from what cheshire bridge is known for. Couple of key notes: the club has valet parking and a cover charge, and the club isn't too big but what you may think it lacks in size it makes up for in personality. Bring your friends and make a night of it. :D Welcome to Atlanta Bliss!!
by Briana S. on Went here last night and was not very impressed. I guess I'll be diplomatic and start by listing what I did like about the place: 1.) The music was pretty good. The DJ played a mix of hip-hop and house music. This is pretty much the only reason I gave it 2 stars. 2.) The place itself is kinda cool looking. It kind of reminded me of an old theater...or the Backstreet Boys' "Everybody" video. 3.) The cage dancers could really get it goin. ...That's it. Things I didn't really like: 1.) I paid $10 for a drink in a plastic cup. 2.) There were girls EVERYWHERE. I'm okay with that if they're not screaming in my ear, slamming into me, and falling on top of my shoes. However, this was pretty standard for the entire 2 hours we were there. 3.) There was a lady in the bathroom dispensing soap and handing out paper towels. That was awkward. 4.) There was absolutely no room to dance without getting bumped into a million bazillion times. 5.) The handful of guys that were there were either from the Jersey Shore or creep shows wearing Robin Hood-esque clothing. Maybe it was just an off night, but I'm not sure I would want to give this place a second chance.
by Sheri Mccracker on This is a dancing review only! I haven't eaten here. But I went dancing here on a Saturday night and it was, by far, the worst DJ mix I've ever heard. And it was that DJ-Deejay guy that people seem to love so much. It straight sucked! I kept thinking that he was putting these songs on in an "I'm full of irony/we're all in on the joke" sort of way, but it lasted all night. I may give Silk City a try, but I'll avoid this dj forever. EDIT: I've got to amend this review. DJ Deejay was nice enough to contact me about my post and ask for suggestions/feedback. Very cool of him considering my hasty (see: mean) review. It's teh internets, it happens. So sounds like maybe I caught an off night. I'll go back to Silk City and give DJ Deejay a try at the Barbary some night.
