by Collen Mainard on it was my girlfriend's birthday last night and she picked this place up to go clubbing and have fun. if it wasn't for my friends i wouldn't enjoy the night. the cocktail drinks that we've ordered where really bad! for example, the midori sour i had was really literally sour! bad bartending! we found a spot in the middle area of the place. but unfortunately that spot was so bad, it will give you head-ache. you hear the loud conflicting sounds from one side to another. the dance floor is located on one side, the other one just a lounge area that plays another music. the place was so crowded and i didn't even liked the crowd in there! and the birthday girl got so drunk and was kicked out of the club... definitely not recommending this club...
by Brenda Loh on I was going to give the Waz 4 stars, but then couldnt think of a reason that it shouldnt have 5. Always enough people to be fun but never so so crowded you cant get a drink. I've been there probly 30 times and have only ever dealt with either the owner or the dark-haired bartendress with the cheetah-print tattoo (cant remember her name through I've probly learned it 9 times!) who are both awesome. Drinks are average price, and they have some great ethiopian choices as well! The space is large, with the bar up front, then a pool table, tables & chairs, large area in the back. It would be nice to have more than one bathroom I guess? Amaaazing decor-red velvet wallpaper and what looks like a christmas light-up village behind the bar? Yes, please. Crowd is diverse and rarely douchey; jukebox rocks as well. Food is great too-but I never get to eat it! For some reason my hankering for Ethiopian always kicks in on Sunday, which is of course the day that they're closed. Sad face. But hey, everybody deserves a break! And, I'll tell ya, I like to come here to take mine.
