Cool sibling of Mandarin Oriental's Lobby Bar, this lounge is more playful with younger crowd and flirtatious vibe (yummy waitresses too) - i.e., perfect drinks spot for the 1st date Arrive around sunset, get yourself a table with couches to the right from entrance, let her order what she wants ($15-40/glass), tell her she looks stunning in this light, and a 2nd date is guaranteed

The food is pretty good, i'd say 2 steps up from el torito. They have a nice bar inside and a smoking patio in the rear of the place with a bar. the food will run $16 +/- per person plus tax, tip and alcohol!!!! dinner for 2 with a few coctails and an appetizer will run upwards of $100 out the door. Great atmosphere for a date.

I traveled to Atlanta this week for work. I'd never been here before and its a scattered and overwhelming city for a first time visitor. I was ready for dinner so I looked up seafood on good old rateclubs and hit Fontaine's Oyster House, which I ate at two nights in a row. I was talking to Sue the bartender and asked her if there was one thing I must see or do to give me a feel of the local Atlanta scene and she smiled and mentioned this wonderful place. I immediately jumped on my blackberry and saw that it was an adult club. I then responded back to Sue that I wasn't looking for this type of thing. She said it isn't what you think it is and there is absolutely no way you won't love this place or have a good time. Several bar customers immediately chimed in and agreed-so away I went. This place is in the back of an hourly hotel, which made me think um "run forest run". Sue had mentioned go around back and "do not go through the hotel". My first impression was that I was in a Tarantino film and I was the extra that gets shot at the bar. The bartender quickly corrected me by saying you are wrong it more of a David Lynch movie. We were both right. I was told by a handful of people that This place is know as the place Strippers go to die. I didn't see Blondie (Thanks David) but am now aware of her as is every person in this city apparently. What I did do is drink a few PBRs with all the locals and had a great deal of fun, and it's been a very long time since I really laughed and smiled through a night and I really felt comfortable and met too many great people in just a few hours. I really get this place and apparently 1/2 the U.S. knows something I just found out. It isn't a strip club-it is the best dive bar I think I've been to with a great bunch of locals (men and women) and tourists that you could ever get to. The bartender had told me about Bill Murray recently coming in, which...well come on its Bill Murray.
