by Serge B. on If you review this place, you have to do it independently of the horrible attitude that the PENN kids bring to the (futuristic) table. There's no need to get up to the bar and start shooting scotch to impress some girls [end rant]. Now for the restaurant itself: the sushi's decent but not great and consistency varies depending on how busy they are (they're always busy). I will say that the spicy bloody mary is a bold and inspired choice of a drink and that the bartenders are friendly even when surrounded by a terrible crowd. A bit better food and a lot more crowd control and this place can add a star or two.
by Bennie Geney on This place gives Atlanta a bad name. Atlanta is supposed to be Hot-lanta for a reason. Previously this venue was called "WetBar" and was for the gay scene and some straight who enjoy their gays. After the remodel and reopen of Primal the Club has went Down Hill. Literally. I have been to this club three times and I'm not really even sure why I chanced it a third. I have paid everytime to get inside and be told by security that "It's Packed" or when calling to see if it's busy cause who wants to go to a dead club. Well, You pay the 20 bucks a pop or whatever they seem to charge that evening and there is no one there. I'm serious, Like NO ONE. I have been once and maybe there were 20 people in the whole club. It's wack and extremely lame. My last time going I paid almost 150 dollars for my friends and I to rock out in a non-VIP section, which I never found because I don't believe there was one. We were told it was so busy and great. got inside, it was dead. yet again. So to make things fun I decided to attempt to dance on one of the boxes provided for dancing on the floor. wasn't 2 seconds I was told to get down because I'm Male. Which is completely stupid. So, I am never going back to this place again. And another thing... They said B.Spears was going there after her performance in atlanta for the circus tour. I'm talking about, They had flyers, invites of facebook. I even called and asked the club was she really going to be there. So then, I called to management team of Britney Spears and they said "She doesn't go to clubs after shows because of tour schedule and that is was a scam" this came directly from her booking agency. I also had a friend that went and said she was a no show but they tried to front off like she was really there just in VIP. She wasn't there.
