Right up front, I have to say that my experience at Supperclub was incredibly disappointing. So much so that I think this is something that my friends and I will joke about for a long time to come. My friends and I got Groupons and headed here on a weekday night. Maybe that's where we went wrong. But even without having to pay for food (because we already bought that through the Groupon), our bill was around $130. That's for 7 drinks... it's because they include gratuity... and the service was pretty weak. First, when I arrived, the doors were locked. They remained locked until 5min after our reservation time so, needless to say, I was incredibly confused. Walking in, I thought the space was cool. Your table really is a bed. It's nice actually -- like having dinner in bed. There is a little table that you can place things off of, but I just ate with the plate on my lap. The food is unimpressive. In fact, I think I could do better at home without really trying. Everything was decent, but no where close to money's worth. The soup was too salty and I think the roasted whole chicken that I can buy at Whole Foods for $10 is better than the chicken that was served here. Edible, sure... but that's not really what I'm looking for when I'm paying this kind of money. The dessert was the best part but I think I could have gotten that at just about any bakery. If the evening had been just about sitting in "bed" and having a meh dinner, then I would have shrugged it off. But the entertainment was so bad and it made the whole thing, well, memorable. First, there was a very large woman who sang incredibly badly. She gave me goosebumps, and not in a good way. The kicker was that he stage name was "Alotta Bootay". Enough said. The pièce de résistance was the final (and second) performance. It was by what I guess was a mime. He shuffled around the room "walking and falling at the same time." Then, when I thought I couldn't take it anymore, he made his way around the audience and touched each of them in an awkward way. My boyfriend, in order to save himself, grabbed his drink and dared the guy to touch him. So he just got his head pushed into the pillows. My friend tried to strategically place her dirty plate in front of her so that he wouldn't come to her but he did. In fact, he hugged her and whispered "oh that feels nice" in her ear. It was the most awkward, slightly disturbing performance I have ever seen, and the night would have been 100x better without it. Needless to say that I won't be coming back here. Even with a Groupon, the price wasn't worth it. In fact, even with the Groupon, I feel totally ripped off.

I've heard this is the hottest club in Atlanta, But I seriously Doubt it. I had a friend go the other night and she is in with the scene of clubs. She came back to report, It was alright, Too expensive, 30 bucks to get in faster with "VIP" that didn't allow her to VIP at all. I would never pay that much to get into a place at all. I've heard that it's mostly the fake the fronts of atlanta, which means. people who think they are higher up because they are going to a nice venue. Get it together. They need to lower their prices and pride and also up the drink content. cause if I'm gonna pay 8 bucks for a drink, it better knock me out with at least two purchases. ya dig. but I do know for fact that famous faces are seen in this venue, But I aint paying to see no one famous. I'm there to have fun and kick it.
