I saw The Fine Frenzy here and I thoroughly enjoyed the show. The venue is a very petite and well designed music hall that also has seating room on the second floor. I found myself downstairs with plenty of room to get a great view of the band. The crowd that showed up also seemed to be your typical urbanite or yuppie. Not a great selection of beer, but was not too expensive nonetheless. Very cozy and exuberant atmosphere. I recommend!

I used to love coming here but now this place gets a 3 or maybe 3.5 depending on how good the dj is. When you don't want to waste your time waiting in line or paying cover for ruby skye you can just go next door to slide. The place is a decent size but doesn't have a very big dance floor. If you want bottle service it's great because there a lot of tables around. The music is usually good but sometimes the dj can have bad transitions but if you're drinking, who cares? Slide does have a slide you can go down but ladies if you're not wearing pants it's a no go, you can't be flashing your hoo haa to people below. =P One thing slide has going for it is that they don't have a cover and the line isn't bad, if you're a girl... so guys make sure you have a girl with you or make friends with girls in line because they have a pretty strict 1:1 ratio.

I went last night to watch a friend play and that was the only good thing of the night. We had to wait 15-20 minutes for the waitress to finally take our order of drinks and dessert. This was after she said that she would be right with us. I understand slow service cuz it's really busy but this wasn't that busy, she was just slow. The wait for drinks took long while as well. I like strong drinks as well as the next person but not to the point where they just taste like rubbing alcohol. And what was up with gratuity added when we were a party of 3?! Also the 5$ cover *and* the two drink minimum?! All in all I probably wouldn't go back unless my friend was playing again.
