by Chris J. on If you are actually into bowling, the lanes are dead, the pins have no action, and it feels like you're rolling on a glowing carpet. I did the groupon thing thinking my girlfriend and I would get to actually bowl in manhattan for an affordable rate, but it was useless. Just a lot of glowing lights, crappy music, and $24 pitchers, so you know... like every trendy spot in the area. The employees were very nice though, and they are the only thing that gives this place 2 stars instead of 1. regular prices.. Lane: $68/hour Shoes: $6.50 Pitcher: $24
by Robert Froio on Good show about Fela Koti, with lots and LOTS of live Afro-Cuban music and dancing- i couldn't stop nodding my head and tapping my feet. The dancers were amazing and the lead actor in the role of Fela was SO charismatic- he held the theatre in his hand the entire evening. We were enthralled by the story and music. I recommend seeing this musical, albeit on a Friday or Saturday night because it was a bit long...not like that's a bad thing.
