I went here last night and I'll honestly say it's probably one of the worst experiences I had in an SF club/lounge. Located up the block from Club X, Temple, and other spots this place was the destination for the night. I came here with my cousins and some mutual friends to check this place out as one of my final pit stops in the Bay Area to rateclub before, I depart this weekend. Obviously, I've had a lot of tolerance (and probably little expectations when going out to enjoy nightlife). 1) Good DJ and Music ( a must otherwise the place is a bust) 2) Good Spacious Floor To Dance On (we're here to dance right?) 3) Stiff Drinks (tipsyness is a must, especially in a nightclub) My Verdict: 1) Tommy Lee (yes the same one from Motley Crue and who smashed Pamela Anderson) DJs Mash-Up (since when?), but his co-DJs threw down some decent sets. 2) There was no space to dance (bump and grind with maybe a couple of folks passing by). I've never played "bumper car" with so many pairs of silicone breasts that night, it was ridiculous. Couldn't even throw down a decent set of housing steps without having someone graze me with their ass or tits. 3) The drinks were moderately stiff, but the price can be a bit better (ordered: 3 Tokyo Teas, 2 Stella Artois, and a Heineken; all within $30.00 with tax not including tip). I did not see three floors as it entails, the bottom floor (or floors ) were completely closed off if they existed at all. The bouncers were decent, didn't give us much hassle. Like any club, sign up on the guest list before you get shafted with overbearing prices. The crowd, I didn't like it so much really. All I got from it were obnoxious meatheads, wannabe pornstars, and the occasional dancing wallflower with no rhythm in dancing. I think I would have been better off eating salmon roe off of a California Roll at this place any day of the week than to come here. Good effort.. open up more places to dance in, have more DJs, and continue with the decent service at the door. That would probably make this place a hell of a lot better.

I went to this place strictly off the rateclubs rating, and I was so disappointed! Everything I ordered was pretty much not that good. I had the seaweed salad...not great (the seaweed salad at Lucky Lounge is much better). I had a fried chicken tender appetizer. What I ended up getting was fried chicken fat! I got the special eel roll, which was NOT good. I mean, my roll came out WARM. I really hate that. I like my rice to be cold...or at least somewhere around room temp! What else? The decor/ambiance was just okay. It was clean! I'll give them that. The wait staff had absolutely no idea what I was talking about half the time. Their English was terrible. I will NOT be going back.

I thought I saw Kim Sung Soo here! Until I noticed that all guys there looked the same - gel in hair, striped button down collar shirt, dark wash jeans, black shoes. Oh.... nothing to get excited about. They serve "asian" drinks such as lychee martini and soju, but they didn't have my favorite - yogurt soju! *pouts*
