by Sang Vallez on I found this place to be a good place if you just want to have a good time without dealing with annoying bouncers or too many creepers. The best part is that there is no cover. Always a plus. Once you get in voila, it looks like an outdoor park like thing, complete with trees and shrubbery and all. Except the lighting was very creepy and weird... like that yellow lighting in a parking lot. Hm... Of course the dining area is dead at late night. The party is upstairs. So you come upstairs and find it to be packed. The music is so-so and the people there are generally friendly. Overall you will have a good time in this place and you meet some interesting individuals. In a good way. But there will always be that one trying to dance his way beside your friend.
by Clair Kulesa on Damn, these "bitches" got bigger tits and skinnier legs than me!!! I'd say it was a good experience, but I wouldn't go back more than once. The food was okay. You're mainly paying for the entertainment. oh did i mention the butterface? they need to dim the lights more..
by coffeecake j. on yes this venue is so beautiful and great bands play here. i have been here many many times and all the shows have been great. the problem is this: i stand for a living. when i am going to a show, even an upbeat music show, i still like to sit. so. if i dont get there early enough to claim the table that they have moved against the wall (where you are not allowed to sit) and then keep one eye on the show, and my other eye on security from kicking me off said table, well, lets just say, im not a very happy girl. my favorite show there was a sit down evening with yo la tengo show. gmh should do more sit down shows.
