I went on a Saturday night, completely prepared to wait, based on everyones reviews - and wait we did :)  The only reason it gets 4 stars is because we waited over an hour and 1/2 and they don't take reservations, but the saving grace was that we got a prime spot at the bar, so at least we could have a couple drinks. Once we were seated, we knew exactly what to order, and the food came out super fast.  We had the rutabaga as an appetizer and the sauce that came with it was delish.  The lamb burger was one of the most flavorful things I have ever put in my mouth.  The sweet potato tots tasted more of fried than sweet potato, but it made them all the more scrumptious. My companion had the southern burger - or heart attack on a bun - a fried burger with pimento cheese, what could be better?? Overall - very trendy spot, definitely worth the wait and easy on the wallet. But, I do plan to go back for lunch to have a milkshake, because alcohol and the thought of a milkshake didn't sound too appealing the other night!

I tried Medici for the first time last night, and am now a huge fan! The food was delicious, and the menu was creative. Although it changes daily, I recommend trying the chicken with a pomegranate glaze. The service was also friendly and very helpful! It was a little empty (definitely no wait) when we first got there, but filled up as the night went on. This place won't be a secret for much longer. They need a sign, marketing and a few finishing touches on the decor -- but the food/service/quality is excellent. And the rest is in progress! I highly recommend it. Also great for dates or a (small) group of friends!

OK, so apparently it's open again.  My manicurist told me today it's good and I wanted to take an American couple to sample Russian food and the nightclub scene.  But as I live nowhere near Brighton, I called them and asked, in Russian mind you, if they have a website where I can view their menu.  The lady says, "no, I don't think so".  Then I go on to ask how and where I can view it to order a banquet, but the line is dead. She hung up on me just like that!  I'm sorry, but that's just RUDE.  That's how I sum up most of these Russian establishments.  RUDE.  No customer service skills what-so-ever.  I don't care how good their food may be, they are not getting my business.
