by Ashley H. on there were two bars that i totally loved but could not remember the name of. Skylark was one and this is the other. I remember i used to come here while traveling up polk street on saturday nights. it was by far one of my favorites because its a total dive but they also have some pretty good music to dance too. its hot and stuffy and a lot of drunk people in a really small space. just my type of joint. i came here during the last couple of giants games during the regular season and i got to have a nice little chat with the owner. how cool is this guy!!!!! great place just to chill out and talk with the homies. they also have a few signature drinks that are worth a try. cash only please tho.
by Jeanette U. on Went here several years ago for a friend's birthday celebration. We left the big group that we were with to check it out real quick-the big group were at the bar next door. A group of 5 girls waited in front of us in line to get in the club, and were turned down by the doorman. At this time we were up and really wondering if we'd get in. The doorman asked how many we were and told us to go in. There was a $20 cover charge per person but TOTALLY worth it. Once inside the club there was a live samba band and separate DJ. The place is amazing. Was so amazing that we lost track of time and the big group that were next door later left back to the hotel :O
