FRIDAY was terrible. crowd was whack, homies bar tabs got double charged, and there were NO ladies at all theres like 3 different dancefloors, a ton of bars, and they are open until around 4am breakdance battles, girls getting fingered on the floor, ehh whatevs for a friday night in SF. -1 because cover was $20
by Jodee Bollier on Pod, you get 3 stars because no matter how loaded any given rich person might be, your food is absurdly priced. I like to eat here with my ex so that I can rob him through Starr. Just kidding.... The rock shrimp is a favorite among my pals, and I'm a sucker for the sea bass. Pod looks cool from the outside, but let's face it--most of the seating inside won't blow your mind. Nothing special about the main seating area. I wouldn't come to Pod on a Saturday night; you won't be able to hear the people you're sitting with. It gets incredibly loud. I found myself at Pod constantly during my last semester at Penn, & those were some damn yummy meals. But I wouldn't make the trip to UCity to eat here now that I live downtown. If you're not sure about spending the dough here, save yourself some cash and do a test run at lunch. If you fall in love, make that dinner reservation!
