by Mike L. on Went here for NYE 2011. We got there around 945. Hella early but we didn't want to be in line when the ball dropped. Valet was complimentary. There was no line and we walked right in. $40 for me $20 for my lady. $5 coat check. What makes this spot cool is the fact their are a lot of bars in for a small club. So u can get ya drink on quick. Drinks were reasonably priced. $10 for Kettle One on the rocks. Filled to the brim. The bar tender was cool too Music was so so. It was mostly dance music in the main room but it sounded a little pre-mixed generic. Ya typical dance music. They had hip-hop in the other room but the DJ needs to step his crate game up. There really isnt a dance floor. U kinda just ... dance where u are. Id go back but i wouldn't pay $40 again. I need a hook up. Holla
by Sarah R. on Great food. Great beverages. Great service. Great price. I'd hardly ever noticed this place because it's kinda ugly on the outside. But! After reading a rateclubs email review about it, we had to check it out. And boy, I'm glad we did. We started with an order of calamari. Perfectly light, crispy and very tender. And that chili sauce is unexpected and amazing. For our entrees, we took the advice of a few other rateclubsers and tried the specials -- Southwest crabcakes, fish tacos and lamb lollipops. Everything was absolutely delicious and impeccably presented. Each dish was full of bold flavors and complemented with bright little vegetable medleys. I would definitely go back for my fish tacos, but since they were on the specials list, I may be forced to try something new next time! My avid beer-drinking companions were impressed with the beer selection (including Chimay on tap), and I stepped out of my usual routine and ordered the Key Lime Cocktail. I was worried that it might be too sweet (vanilla stoli, pineapple and lime), but I was delighted with its mellowy citrus flavor. Not sugary at all, in fact, I just might order it again. All of that, plus a cheerful waitress and totally reasonable prices (mostly $9-$15 entrees). We shall return!
