by Marie L. on We went to the Parish market for coffee and pastries on Sunday morning. On previous visits, the pastries were fresh and excellent (especially the white chocolate, apricot scones.) Yesterday, however, the croissants (chocolate and chocolate/almond) were stale! It was especially disappointing as I've had such a good experience in the past and willing to pay a premium for fresh treats. I hope that it was just an off day--things just didn't seem so organized this time.
