I've been here many times, and while this is a typical club you would expect in the corridor...I think it's decor is lazy. I think everything about this club is lazy. From okay DJs, to frigid bartenders and sometimes pushy bouncers, it's a bit watered down...not that I am totally complaining, I don't go for flashy celeb hangouts though. I will say though, while I don't like the decor, it does give off a pretty cozy atmosphere, I like the crowd, and even though the DJs are just ayte, the music can be pretty good on Saturdays, if you can get in... Do I think this place stands out from the rest, not really, but I would come here if you want something slightly toned down, and still a lot of fun.

a solid 3 stars...middle of the road experience. 1. centrally located -- my office and the offices of my friends 2. cheesy crowd--like in the 80's how they'd say 'singles bar' that's the kind of vibe this place give off--so unless that's what you're looking for, stay away from the bar. (we always get a table) 3. fresh guac--really good. 4. pulled pork tamale-inconsistent--when it's good, it's VERY good, when it's bad..it's not actually that bad. i have a tamale fixation so between this and the booze, i generally never object to meeting here. the service can be slow (but never rude, the staff here is pretty pleasant), but we go knowing we're going to linger, drink, and bullshit around so it's all good. as long as you know what you're getting into ahead of time and can plan accordingly, what the hell. you have to swing by the 'club' downstairs in order to pee...from what i've seen, the club seems pretty freakin lame.
