It's a great cafe to go to if you need a break from shopping down Union Square, need to hide out from the crowd for an hour, and can use a drink. My espresso martini was quite delicious. The snacks menu seemed to have a good variety too but I didn't try any food.
by Ricardo Baldos on Nevermind the bad music, shitty drinks, absurd cover, ghetto-ish crowd, and lack of atmosphere..the first time I went here, two crews got into several brawls on the dancefloor..girls were using their heels as weapons. Late into the night, a guy smashed a beer bottle on another guy's face, resulting in heavy bleeding. I got out of there as soon as I could, and I found the beer bottle victim sitting on the floor outside of the club, bleeding profusely. He didn't speak much English but I helped him as best I could and contacted 911. Took them about half an hour to get there..no love for the 'loin. So yeah, if you're into being shanked or otherwise maimed, this is your spot.
