by Farbod D. on I'm a big fan of this place. -Good music...actually, GREAT music. -Diverse crowd -Cool Area (not as much the location, but more the fact that I love that it's tucked away in an alley--reminds me so much of a bunch of places I went to in NYC.) -Not too big/Not too small -- Ideal sized place for my liking. I've really never come here and not had a good time....The only issue is that I'm not big on the $10 cover for a place that's not necessarily a "club," but then again, I'd MUCH RATHER pay $10 to go here than $20 to go to some whack club. Drinks are a bit too pricey as well, but we live in San Francisco...what do we expect?
by Pablo Bolner on They would get 2 stars. . . for passe ambience and average service, but they got three because they may just have the best cheese grits that I have ever had! THE best! I like grits just fine and cheese isn't as popular with me as it is with the rest of the world, but these cheese grits are like heaven. They are fluffy and creamy and cheesy. . . and lovely! Go and order sushi and a side of cheese grits. . . I laughed at my roommate when she did, but then I had a bite of those grits.
