by Danae Cepero on Geno's is better than Pats, but in all honesty cheesesteaks aren't that awesome. Bland meat, low quality bread, and processed cheese. Meh.
by Dan M. on I went her with my sister before meeting up with the rents for dinner. When you first walk into this place it looks just amazing. Huge statue in the back and entire decor of the place is great. They have two bars... One downstairs and one upstairs. The drinks are really expensive but both of the ones we ordered were top notch. It is easy to tell that this place can get to be pretty fun later in the night. Lots of good looking girls all over the place. Def a fun place to checkout.
by Marge Pizzulo on Let me start off by saying I'm a club freak. Hate it or love it, I go to them alot, and I've been all over the world - Miami, Ibiza, Germany, Montreal, etc. For all intents and purposes, Rumor CAN be a good time. I've been there several times. Some of the experiences were downright awful, and some were OK at best. The music changes depending on the night, but it's mostly house. The drinks are expensive, so be prepared to spend (I was there last night, paid $45 for 2 drinks and 2 beers). The music can be good, and sometimes it can suck. The bouncers can be douche bags, and sometimes not. People openly smoke cigarettes in this place, especially at the tables of the Dubai kids. This is not a place to pick up people. Unless your Turkish and have a $500 table. Or have amazing game and speak Spanish/Arabic/Portuguese. I am usually an ethnic minority at Rumor. I'm a white Jew from the suburbs, do the math. maybe if i wore a kenneth cole keffiyeh i'd fit in. Overall, I prefer Underbar much much more - music is much better, much bigger variety of different people, and the layout is great. Much less pretentious as well.
