first of all, i wanted to point out that i went with the groupon. but there were people there who paid full price for the same show, so my review is not indicative of the fact that i went for a discounted price. so i went on a tuesday night, so i don't know what other nights are like, but that tuesday was not good at all. my thoughts in order from good to bad: - 3-course-meal was enough food to be filling and plated nicely - ms. v is pretty entertaining, the first few times she makes fun of herself / others. but then you realize she just uses the same lines over and over again. and then it's not interesting anymore. - food was not bad, but not great. the main course, which was pork, was really overcooked to the point where it was hard to cut with a knife. also, the sauce was waaay too sweet - two "shows": opera singer (pretty eh) & then a juggler, who was about the same level as a street performer. overall was 20min even though the entire dinner lasted 2 hrs. i feel like there was a third act... but i can't even remember. i don't think it takes a genius to figure out that the pros definitely don't outweigh the cons. overall, not a great use of my time or money. though eating on beds is a novel concept...? but CRUMBS!

Me and my girls were looking for a place to have lunch in Alhambra Sunday Afternoon. I saw 38 Degrees (empty and no one came to the front to greet us) and Mahan Indian Restaurant next door to that (but my sister wasn't up for that). So then we took a peek into Fronteras and decided to try it. And let me tell you, we are So Happy we did! Our server was very polite and got us our Margaritas quickly. And they were delicious margaritas to boot! We were brought some chips and salsa which that we happily munched on. We decided to order an appetizer each to share. Our food was delivered in a nice amount of time. We got the 4-mini tortas with chicken. Thumbs up!!! We also ordered Nachos (no meat) and they were finger lickin' good. Then we dove into our huge Carnitas Quesadilla and couldn't stop talking about how good it was in between bites. Three appetizers + three margaritas = three happy and very satisfied ladies. Our bill was just under 55$ We experienced Great service, Delicious food and a very relaxing atmosphere. We'll be back soon!!

I went to this place for a reggae event so I don't know how it is all the time but last night was ok. We went there for a friend's birthday and the DJ was nice enough to give her a birthday shout-out except he called her by the wrong name! Hilarious! Anyway the music was good, mostly reggae but he threw in some hip hop and such here and there. A Japanese hip-hop/reggae/rapper guy was there performing and he was pretty good too. All in all it was a good time and there was a great aroma that was floating in the air the whole time...if you know what I mean :)
