by Henry S. on Can you spell D U M P? Visited today for the first time. Only two people in the place, waiting (as I did for quite a while) for what appeared to be the only employee to show up. Loud and annoying music. Not much heat (it was a cold day). And the wonderful French pastries promised on the sign outside not available (no other desserts either). Oh, and when it come time to pay they tell you they aren't taking credit cards (but you can get cash, with an expensive payment they share, from their ATM machine). There's also an automatic 15% gratuity. Otherwise no one would tip for service like this.
by Keira Kopan on I've been to Compound just once.. i liked it, but it was the q100 bitter ball party, so i don't know if the "standard night" is cool as well.. but the club is very big and nice, especially during the spring/summer (so you can just stay in the outdoor area). There are different rooms, with different types of music. I've just read on the internet site that is closed now, but it's going to open again this coming spring.. and i will visit it for sure! I just want to complaint about the bathrooms.. Too small!! I went twice, and i waited 15 minutes in the line each time! Too much!
