by Jeremy H. on The Amsterdam location isn't as unique and cool as the old location, but I still really like Loca Luna. The tapas here are my favorite in Atlanta. The items I find myself ordering again and again are the Carne Asada, chicken Empanadas, Falda de Bistec, and Patatas Bravas. The potatoes come with some spicy dipping sauce that is so good! The tacos are really good too, especially the carne. Oh yeah, and the fried plantains (but I love those anywhere) I always get the caiparinhas here. They aren't very big, but plenty sweet and strong! If you haven't had a caiparinha, this is a good place to try 'em out! The atmosphere is festive, fun, and loud on the weekends. The service is good, although on my last trip the service was a bit slow (I was seated in a strange upstairs area that overlooks the main dining area.) The band is always good, playing upbeat Latin dance music. Always have a good time when I come here!
by Brent Nickleson on To me, restaurants today separate themselves typically not in the food, but in the service. Margarita Jones was decent in service and only mediocre in the food. I say this to mean that most restaurants have the same level of food. My friends and I usually went there for drinks and some light eating.
