Recently came here with a group to watch the giants.  It was a decent sports bar, with big screen (more like huge) projectors tvs showing all the games. The food was below average, with the wings being the bright spot and they were only 3.5-4 stars.  We had pizza which was 2 stars at best. Also, the service was a bit lacking as we often waited quite some time for our drinks, which at a bar is pretty inexcusable. I would return, but only because of the screens.

Oh man! My girlfriend & I went here last night for my bday & there was a private party celebration, so the crowd & music wasn't the best in my book. The music is always great though, so overall it was COOL. We have to return to another Saturday night I guess! The bouncer is totally cool and the other dude too who you have to get stamped with, staff is totally professional and nice! Bathroom is one of those with the perfumes and candy, which I used and not bad at all. I loved the ambiance too, totally hip!

The Bowery Presents is trying to sell this place as a concert venue, besides the dance club. Been there 2 times. First time: M83. Sound just ok, vocals got mostly lost, which seems to be a common occurrence. Second time: Morrissey! It sounded pretty darn good, but then again I'm certain he travels with his own sound engineers, so I'm thinking The Bowery Presents should hire better sound people. Nothing else is remarkable. Lighting is underwhelming. Stage is high enough so you can have a decent view from different places in the room. Layout is somewhat bad. It's on the second floor, but there's only one set of stairs getting out, and you have to battle with the people coming down from the mezzanine. At one point I stopped jumping because I fear the floor would collapse. It was bouncing from all the people going bezzerk over the Moz. Final verdict: TBD. I need another gig there. But they'd better make it right.
