by andy m. on I decided to come here for NYE. And I got there around 10:30 which is WAY early and it was completely dead. But I read so many great reviews here on rateclubs I decided to hang out and wait to see if it would fill up. AND IT DID. I had a BLAST here. I met so many cool people and just over all had a great time. And to my pleasant surprise its connected to The Drunkin Unicorn, one of my go to places for concerts. SO i got to dance, see cool live music and meet awesome people. I dont really have a reason to NOT give it 5 stars. I just am choosing not to. This may change on my next visit. QUICKTIPS: If your scrolling through reviews looking for a reason to not go. well you clearly are looking for a fun night. So just go..ok? cool. also dont be shy. get in there and boogy!! 1/365 #rateclubs365
by Erin M. on I went here with a coworker two days after the opening for lunch. We knew we were in for a wait and gave ourselves an hour for a leisurely lunch. I have to commend Bobby's team on excellent logistical planning. There is a BBP employee assigned to monitor the line. She stands outside and lets people know how long the wait will be, asks them about what they think they will order, and hands out menus. We were told it would be about an 40 minute wait until we could order and that suited us because the office is around the corner. The line was out the door, but it moved constantly. Also, it was sunny outside, so I enjoyed standing in the sunshine. As one other person mentioned, yes, there is a single cash register. It's likely that way on purpose, to make the line move at a speed which the cooks can follow. Once we got to the head of the line, I ordered a LA turkey burger, crunchified, my coworker ordered a Napa Valley Burger, and we split an order of sweet potato fries. We both got the fountain sodas which come with free refills. We chose to sit at the bar and wait for our orders, which was nice because a waitress came by to refill one of our drinks for us, although it was self-serve. Our food arrived in record time: around 5 minutes after we ordered. On to the burger; my burger was perfect. The turkey was moist, not overcooked, and the huge melty slice of cheese on touch was just the right amount. I barely noticed the tiny sprig of watercress, but it was nice for presentation. The bun was toasted on both sides which made the sesame seeds exceptionally delicious. The chips on top of the burger, AKA the crunchification, were a nice touch of texture. The sweet potato fries weren't great, just okay. The side of sweet mustard that came for dipping was over-sweet. I don't think I'd order the fries again. I'm going back for dinner with my husband soon. This is going to be a place I frequent.
