by Jeremy M. on Ate here for the first time last weekend with a friend. The sushi, sashimi, and presentation were great. The service was amazing as well. We ate at the Sushi bar and were entertained and had great conversation with the head sushi chef. He was very funny and made us feel at home. I live in Roswell, so it was quite a drive, but well worth it and I will definitely be heading back again soon. The atmosphere was relaxed and cozy.
by Mathew Worster on Came here for V day this year. . . they were having a special V day - two flights, sparkling wine and red wine, and then two different dessert plates to match either flight. We had never been to Heritage, but I've been dying to try it because hey, just because I'm a vodka girl doesn't mean I don't love my wine. And I LOVE my wine. I love wine bars (bodega, magnolia, etc.) Heritage is like being in a wine cellar. . . that's the ambiance. It isn't a wine BAR. . . I felt like if I got drunk here, it'd be a little out of place. It seems a little more classy than that. It's for those people that want a GLASS of wine (yes, I mean JUST ONE GLASS) after work, or a pre-drink before a date. No getting sloshed here! We both ordered the red wine flight ($20), and a cheese plate (1 cheese - $8) that came with a soft cheese, bread and crackers (they actually gave us another basket of bread when the first was gone), and like, three grapes cut in half. . . oo! and half a teaspoon of some preserves. Maybe it was because I was hungry, but I was having a nice little buzz off of the four wine flight (and I wondered why they called it a flight??) The girl that helped us out talked about each of the wines, and answered a few of our questions. At first I was a little intimidated since I know almost dirt about wines (I know, I love wines but know nothing about them), but she was sweet, knowledgeable and down-to-earth. This was a great different type of date place than we're used to. . . I think we both liked it. Plus, it was fairly inexpensive and we got buzzed off of our flights (+++!!!!). I think we'll be back!
