by Mathew on I was with my girlfriend at Elwoods Gastro Pub Last Sunday. The place is amazingly superb. I was much impressed by the prompt and amicable service. Though the menu hadn’t an extensive range of foods yet the prices were very reasonable. We took Sunday roast which included a soup and salad, green beans and a tofu curry. At the end tried bear as well. Food, bear and service, all fine. The owner particularly met everyone there inquiring about the food and drinks quality. The DJ played great background music (classic rock) my favourite. The ambience also impressed my girlfriend and she is also appreciative of the pub.
