by Amanda B. on ************* REVIEW 199 **************** I don't come to a club for clubbing, I come because of my friends. & this place is no different, 1 of my FAV models invited me to come out, so dropped in & oh boy, it was so much. I love to go out on a week night rather than weekend when I was living here, & this time, on a WED night, thanks to my friend Matt, this place was packed every single table & lots of models. Wonder if they have moved from Cain & Marquee to here now?! This lounge is well designed & layout, nice chandelier, cozy & definite rocking.
by Josiah Damron on When I walked in here, the first thing I was reminded of was santana row in san jose....the vibes and the crowd was like a mix of v bar and sinos (more asian and less diverse here though). This impression was confirmed when I bumped into a group of guys that I saw pretty often the times i went to santana row. but hey, there's a dancefloor downstairs! even if i'm not feeling like dancing, it's just a change of pace from the boring loungey feel you get upstairs. This was where my biggest PARTY FOUL of 2008 happened. spilled wine all over some girl's blouse...ouch. i got too excited when i was laughing at some guy's dancing... Her boyfriend gave me the eye for a second and i was thinking i better be prepared to look even meaner and attack (or keep my eye out for a sucker punch) but didn't bother to give me shit when he saw i was apologizing to her and felt bad about it. maybe I'm lucky i wasn't in a ghetto bar or divey place for that.
by Clint Majestic on this place is sexy. the female bartenders are all dressed in bettie-page style fashion, and can serve up a strong drink to match. they have cabaret shows here most nights during the weekend. after the shows, stay for a drink. or 3.
