I took 2 of my friends with me, and i kept on telling then how good its going to be and about all the great reviews it got! Once i open that yellow door..i knew it was going to be a major FAIL. And i was right!! The place was not clean, the food is just sitting out in the open and it didn't even taste that great. I felt so bad for dragging my friends all the way there and they didn't even take more than few bites. I really don't understand what the hype is all about. Try banana leaf or penang instead of this place.
by Linnie Liebau on Needed a spot near ny city center bc the rents went to a show, but this was slightly dissapointed. they had a price fixed menu for 35 which was ok. crab cake and hanger steak were good, but not great. overall it was forgettable
by Vallie Senion on If you want to be picked up by foreign men and older doctors from out of town, this is the place for you!! Seriously....this place is a pick up joint. But it's a classic, so you go when you have out of town guests...the view alone is worth it. Wednesday nights are mad, Thursdays are a bit more tame. Lots of space, good size dance floor, and decent drinks. Also good for my friend who was driving and wanted non-alcoholic beer! They delivered, PLUS it was German which he appreciated (being German! :-P) So overall, 3.5 stars...I won't go back on a regular basis, but it's fun every so often. Best get there before 10 pm to avoid the $10 cover.
