by Chaya Proffer on Best. Meal. Ever. Flawless from start to finish. I realized I was in food heaven when I secretly licked the spoon of the amuse-bouche course. Even the music was perfect. What better way to have dessert than to have "I Wanna Make It Wit Chu" by Queens of the Stone Age as the soundtrack?
by Kris O. on Your food senses will thank you for this. A Taste bud sensory orgasm. Ok, with that said.... l'm going to explain why... -Tataki of American Wagyu Skirt, Morocccan Spiced Vegetable: Very tender beef, so much flavor and oh so juicy! I wanted to order another one of these! - Parsnip Soup with little balls of apple - pretty darn good! - Jidori Chicken - Yeah, chicken is chicken but THIS chicken was sooo tender and filled with flavor. It just fell off the bone and spiced so right with crispy fatty skin and caramelized onions. And if that didn't get me, there was a little piece of heaven called truffled mac-n-cheese that laid underneath it! Michael Mina had me at the mac-n-cheese! - Wild Mushroom Risotto, Castlemango Cheese, New Olive Oil, Lemon Thyme... the presentation was cool, but actually it was way bit too salty for me. But my boyfriend liked it... - Classic Root Beer Float with cookies - YUM!!! It was the perfect ending to the meal. Especially since we had the port to accompany it! I loved how there was so much to the main meal, but the dessert was so simple and just soo good! - Nutella Custard with Popcorn Ice Cream - wha wha what? Popcorn ice cream? YES!!! All together was DEE-LISH! Each of our meals had a great wine pairing - excellent job selecting the right wine with the meals. The decor was cool - like a library parlor, with hidden doors and great ambiance. The restaurant was crowded very quickly, glad we got there a little early to savor some of the quietness. Overall it was a fabulous dining experience.
