I only went because I get hooked up. The food isn't really anything special. The Club part afterwards was cool if you're into that reggaeton and techno music. Lots of very attractive latinas. Drinks are super expensive, so come prepared...Although I heard that they have a great Happy Hr on Fridays

Gaaah. This club is not for me. Maybe it's for you and maybe I shouldn't have been talked into going here on a Saturday night but one things for sure...it did not make me want to get my boogie on. After my friend begged some old promoter with bad skin for what felt like an eternity we finally got in to this place and were led downstairs to a table where a group of maybe 10 tired looking ladies worked too hard to get said promoter's attention. We drank some free champagne. I talked a guy that looked like Clark Kent (you know, from the TV series...drool) who could hardly speak English and kept trying to stammer things to me in a thick German accent. "this ez good, yes?" No. And suddenly we started getting stampeded, like in Lonesome Dove when they steal the horses from the Mexican landowner. But these horses wore stilettos and suit ties and instead of dust, we were surrounded by the scent of hair gel, vomit and Britney Spears' Curious Heart perfume. I couldn't get out of there fast enough.

Woah woah woah. There are MUCH better burgers in the world! I came here on the recommendation of a cab driver (don't mess with cabbies they know everything about a city) who said that he thought Delux had the best burger in the Phoenix area. While this may be true since I did not get to try any other burgers while in Phoenix, I highly doubt that this is THE BEST in the Phoenix area ... I simply refuse to believe it. The food wasn't bad. It just wasn't great. The only saving grace of Delux is that they had a really expansive and interesting selection of beers both on tap and in the bottle. If I lived in Phoenix though, I probably wouldn't go back.
