by Sandy W. on As a club, this place is okay. I think they tend to bring in some interesting talent/DJs. Haven't encountered the annoying sleaze factor that plagues other clubs. However, as a concert venue, this place was really mediocre. The energy just wasn't there as a combination of the layout of the venue itself and the crowd. I came here to see Robyn & Kelis perform. While Robyn was definitely a fantastic performer with great energy and solid sound, people were busy standing around and taking pictures and videos than enjoying the music. The front half of the venue towards the stage there is more energy, stronger sound and lights, but the air is so stifling and the smell of body odour is unbearable. The rear, however, is just dark and dull. People standing around looking bored or something. VIP upstairs wraps around the rear of the venue and people were just standing there against the railing, no movement.
by Luther Mewbourn on my friend took me to this place we had a few beers and Shimp Scampi - i believe that's what it is called. It was really good: spicy and garlic shrimp with toasted bread. went well with the beers. thanks buddy!
by Tad Clavey on if you like house music - then this is your place. i like house music..but not enough to make this my place. the crowd is average looking - not super hot, not super not - reasonable - but i dunno... drinks were club drinks - cover was 25 - luckily i didn't have to pay for cover or drinks, but if i did - i wouldn't have had appreciated it at all. over all, it was a cool time - but i think if you're really into house music (which i'm not), it's definitely more fun b/c this is definitely a place for house dancers. seemed like a lot of bridge and tunnel ppl here too - which was annoying. they limit the ppl coming in which means it never got too crowded - so that was nice.
