I enjoy the food here. I love eating outdoors here. 1st. Chips and salsa and bean dip, I loved it! Lovin the bean dip and thats tough for me. Usually I don't enjoy beans or bean dip much but I can eat that all day long! 2nd. I love the tamales. I took a bite and I felt like I've eaten it before. I noticed it was like the Chinese rice wrapped in banana leaf. I loved the texture. The flavor was clean and full. 3rd. Carne de Res Asada Salvatex was so good, I've also had Chicken Soup - which was so so. 4th. For all you chocolate lovers! Chocolate Flan! Yes, worth the sugar rush and all that jazz.... I loved it all! Atmosphere and place was nice, and clean and very friendly!

This is one of my favorite spots in LA. I usually run down for ska or rockabilly shows and when Joey Altruda's Rocksteady Allstars were playing I was a regular fixture. It's one of the few places in LA where I can wear one of my fancier cocktail dresses while I hang out with hipster dudes in jeans and mountain man beards and not feel out of place. You will definitely see a large mix of people here and the DJs can sometimes play some interesting tunes that don't quite mix with the live music but I just chalk that up to adding to the diversity of the place. If it's your first time going you may want to mapquest directions just in case although now that the construction is done it's easier to get to than before. Parking is usually available on the street and I've never had to park more than a block away. My only complaint which really can't qualify as a complaint since it is completely out of their control is that there are no spots to eat within walking distance. Not even a bacon wrapped hot dog lady. Nothing. If you want something to eat you pretty much need to call it a night. They say they have food but I think this mythic food they speak of is off with unicorns and leprechauns because I've never seen it.

Love the diverse crowd scene here. Friday nights is mostly hip hop. Everyone here seems to be in a good mood. Everyone is dancing! On that particular night there was a band and dj. They were performing songs that made me turn around to see if it was the real artist or not. There are 2 bars and coat check available.
