by Mallory L. on Stopped in for a friend's birthday. I was hesitant to go from all the reviews I read and the apparent $30 minimum if you order from the tables before 10pm. Being that I'm unemployed and don't even drink that much, I came at 10:01. Ordered sodas from the bar, which the guy let me have for free. Very sweet, because some bars charge $2 for a soda, even though I am potentially saving lives by being the DD. The energy was great on a Saturday. Got really crowded if that's what you're into. The real drinks, like with alcohol, are EXPENSIVE. I feel like people only come to places like these to weed out the poor people. There's no way I could have gotten a buzz at this place for under $50. Shoot. So, if you want a fancy-pants night surrounded by a lot of rich people and pricey pink drinks, yay bubble lounge! I gave it three stars because it just isn't my scene, so I shouldn't be judging too hard.
by Shelton Roehrich on By far one of the best restaurants in the Fifth Group! I always tend to take visitors to this restaurant and they are always pleased. Good southern food without all the grease and fat! The oysters are a perfect starter and the shrimp and scallops w/grits is fantastic! They also have an excellent cocktail- something with basil.... oh! and end the night with the banana pudding!
by Ahmad Yanetta on I really, really do not like this place. One star for the music - the DJs are usually pretty great - and the three floors, but that's about it. The drinks are just ok, crowd is ehh and the bathrooms are HORRIBLE. There are much better places to go in the city.
