by Antonia Herne on my fiance and i started off here for our date night at atlantic station for dinner. this place definitely looks like a dance club during the day time (kinda creepy like it looks like a totally different place during the day time.) we sat outside because it was about 30* inside. we ordered a spicy california roll which was pretty good. my guy got the special, red snapper and liked it a lot. i'm big into creative salads so i ordered the steak salad. that was one of the first times i've ever ordered one but the flavors totally combated the steak; avocado, mango, peanuts, tangy vinagarette. maybe i just have a weird palate but these things did not go well together in my mouth. don't you just hate it when you finally treat yourself out to dinner and its a huge disappointment?
by Augustine Chowhan on Definitely one of the nicer venues in San Francisco - and in the Top 2 of the list down Broadway. We had gone in on a Thursday to check it out - dead. But it gave us a good chance to see the place for what it was. Great sound system upstairs that isn't overbearing with another spin table downstairs. One of the owners was nice to come chat with us on the slow night and offered us VIP passes to come back on a busier night. We took him up on the offer, and it was busier, but still slow. Great music though. Great bar and stage upstairs and a roomy dance floor. Nice mixed crowd. Has a lot of great potential. No website up yet so its pretty hard to get on a guestlist. Part of the drawback is probably cover. Will come check it out again in a couple of months once they're a little more established.
by Lynn W. on This is one of my favorite bars in Cambridge due to it's casual yet swanky ambiance. Be on the lookout when you first visit, the entrance is easy to miss because they have very simple signage. Modern minimalist decor consists of tables and chairs that can be moved around so that socializing is easier - it also helps clear ways for small dance groups that tend to break out thorughout the night if a good DJ is spinning. Crowd is a mixture of young to middle aged professionals and general hipsters. Crowd tends to change with whatever DJ is spinning. The bartenders are always cool and the appetizers are delicious - try the "Ten Tiny Tacos" which is my favorite!
