by Matthew G. on Went here on a recent business trip because it was recommended by some locals and I needed some relatively quick. Well, this place was pretty much a disappointment even for a fast food place. Compared to the other fast food chains that have emerged the past 10 years that focus on a limited menu with higher quality ingredients, this place is a downer. Positives: Not many - I would say the 'Frozen Orange' FO wasn't that bad but isn't even as good as the milkshake from In-N-Out let alone a good ice cream store. Onion rings were solid. Negatives: Lots - Dirty dining area with plenty of trash & dirty tables; Greasy & soggy fries that weren't even as good as a place like McDonald's; so-so 'Glorified burger'; only takes cash; slow & indifferent service Compared to a place like In-N-Out Burger or Five Guys, this place is pretty poor competitor. Definitely wouldn't be a place I would go back to if I am in Atlanta any time soon.
by Marketta Rennell on I had lunch outdoors at the Delux on Saturday (2/13/10) and ordered the Delux Burger. My burger (medium temperature) was undercooked and since the waiter didn't check to see how everything was tasting in a timely maner I asked for the check when he finally did take time out of his busy day to check on me. I was also pissed because there was a group of 8 people hovering next to me by the railing waiting for a table to open up outside. In short, the ambience does not match the hefty price of the meal.
